Unless I have one very specific topic to talk about, I suck at blog post titles. Considering just doing song titles or something. Whatever.
It’s appalling how little writing I’ve been doing lately, but I have at least been plotting out a couple of very large projects. I’m still working on that whole ‘don’t announce things until they’re ready for publication’ thing so I’m not gonna go into more detail about those big projects just yet.
Nor am I going to confirm or deny that I’ve been tossing around ideas for Stella’s Saga Book 2 recently.
Nor will I confirm or deny the final installment of Sketchbooks within the next two years. (Yikes, that one got away from me.)
But I will confirm that the next few releases will be packed with characters and settings and verbs. Many verbs. Probably some adjectives and a multitude of nouns as well.
My next release will be on a day that end with the letter ‘y.’
Actually what I can tell you about is the sudden surge of people reading Confessions of a Fangirl. Or buying/borrowing it from amazon. It was my bestselling book in August. I’m still wondering why exactly it’s gotten so popular as of late.

FREE DOLLIE! Also, That Whole 'World Ending in 2012' thing is live in the Amazon Kindle Store
For five days, starting Monday, you can go to the Amazon Kindle store and get a free copy of Dollie for your kindle or kindle reading software. The promotion ends on Saturday morning around 2 or 3 AM Central time, so you've got five days to download and enjoy Dollie for FREE!
It will be the last time Dollie will be available for free through the Amazon Kindle store, as I am pulling it from the Amazon Prime program (It's not called the Amazon Prime thing for us writers, but I don't remember what it's called on our end... OH KDP select.) at the end of its current term, which is in July. So if you were planning to borrow it for free, Prime members, please remember to do so before July.
That Whole 'World Ending in 2012' Thing is now live in Smashwords, Kindle, and Nook stores, soon to be distributed to all ebook retailers, and coming out in print as a special 2fer paperback (RADT and TWWEI2012T) sometime in June? That's my best guess. I'm working really hard to get Mortality finished and polished and I'm still working to pull Nikki's Choice together for the Fatima + Nikki's Choice dual story paperback, which I'm hoping to release in August.
Nikki's Choice, the ebook version, will be put out as soon as it's done. It will ONLY be released in paperback through the dual story paperback with Fatima and a poem by my dear friend Robert Meyer.
For Mortality, I'm doing the whole 9 yards. I'm even gonna shell out money to release an audiobook of it. AND I'm gonna try to shell out money for a real book cover. Key word in that sentence: TRY. Because I don't know if I'll have that kind of money to spend. But that's where you guys come in!
Please show your support for me, you know you love me, and buy a copy of Random and Disturbing Thoughts or That Whole 'World Ending in 2012' Thing. Also if you could review any books by me that you may have purchased or gotten in free promotions, that would mean so much to me you have no idea.

Paper Dolls, Amazon Prime, and Jessica Musso
Good news, everyone!
Paper Dolls has been flying off the virtual shelf today! That's because it's FREE for download on the kindle store this weekend. It's free because I have exciting and slightly sad news. I've enrolled Paper Dolls, my very first novella to ever hit the general public, in the KDP Select program. This means that I can get a slice of that lending library pie each month when my book is borrowed by Prime members. This also means that, unfortunately for people who use other platforms to read, Paper Dolls is ONLY available in ebook form from Amazon. But you can download a kindle app for just about every other device. For free. So it's not SO terrible, but I feel a bit bad removing it from so many other markets.
I want to take a moment to thank the wonderful and talented Jessica Musso (author of "The Secret of Wolf River) for talking to me about the KDP Select program last night. Make sure you go give her some love. :)
I'm still swamped with work on all my other random projects, so you just KNOW that something good is coming soon. I can't really set any release dates, but it will all be very soon, like, prior to May/June soon.
Well, I'm gonna end this blog now so I can get back to work (both at my physical job and my writing job).
Don't forget to go check out my giveaway, there's only a couple more days before the deadline. (Hint, it's the post entitled GIVEAWAY)
